A quiet, comfy, cozy hideaway!
Nestled in a little clearing, surrounded by woods, this is a lovely spot to kick back and relax. The location is also perfect for exploring all that the area has to offer… Letchworth and Stony Brook State Parks are both close by, and are definitely worth visiting.

And the Empire Pass provided by your hosts means you can visit both at no charge. Back at the cabin, you’ll enjoy the comfortable woodsy decor, and the fact that everything is so very, very clean.

The kitchen is well-equipped, the bed in the main floor bedroom is comfortable (we didn’t use the loft) and the hosts have provided a lot of little notes and hints to make your stay easier and more enjoyable.

And don’t let the short stretch of dirt road scare you off… it’s wide, very well maintained, and lightly travelled… can’t imagine it being an issue for any vehicle.

If you are in the area or need an excuse to just get away and looking for an area, look no further than this gem. Peg and Bob were amazing hosts with excellent, friendly communication. The cabin was clean, beautiful, and I'd say they thought of everything but that's not quite true...they thought of more than everything.... things I didn't even know I needed. Small flashlights hanging near the doors so you can safely make your way to the stocked firepit (complete with chairs, smores sticks, pie irons, etc.) or maybe take a hike on an actual trail around the property, bikes, indoor and outdoor games, comfy beds, A/C, grill, helpful notes around the cabin, and MUCH more. There were so many decorative and functional features of the property I could go on but in short, you will not be disappointed. Did I mention it's very close to the treasure that is Lechtworth State Park? Thank you Peg and Bob for being gracious hosts and for putting together such an amazing "resort" in the woods. I will be back!
