Back to Back Champions! Great tournament for the Lady Grenades winning their 2nd straight tournament. They fought hard all day. After losing earlier in the day, the girls had to battle back from the losers bracket winning 3 straight back to back to back games. After playing 7 games in 1 day, they took the crown winning the tie-breaker shootout just before midnight. The girls were slap worn out but that didn't stop the celebration. These young ladies have a lot of heart. Congratulations Girls!

Proud of our girls! The girls are always learning something. They learned Saturday not to give up. They knew as a team they were not playing as well as they know they can but they kept playing. They fought and scrapped all day to win the tournament. Girls you don't have to play your best to win. You just need to know what it takes and do it. Saturday you showed you know and you did it. Congratulations!

Lady Grenades start the new season with several new girls in Cleveland Tennessee. They started out with a pair of 10 to 0 wins. Looking good girls!!

Lady Grenades 10U girls softball travel team will have open tryouts Sunday August 10th, from 3pm - 5pm at the Hamilton Crossing Softball Fields in Bartow County. We are looking for hard working dedicated girls with committed parents. We are a 04’ based team but will consider those with 2005 birthdays if the right fit. The team will carry 11 athletes on the roster to assure ample playing time. All positions are earned on the practice field. We plan to play twice a month. Please RSVP to [email protected] so we can be prepared to accommodate all young athletes wanting to tryout and inform you of any schedule changes.

Lady Grenades finish the season on top! The team went undefeated 4-0 to win the Tournament. Must have been the heat because these girls were on fire combining great pitching, great defense and great hitting all day. Grenades outscored their opponents 34 to 6 and out hit them 29 to 6. The pitching staff recorded 30 strikeouts.

Madi was named tournament MVP. Her final 10 and under tournament was a strong one. She had a strong performance both on the mound and at the plate in her final 10 and under tournament. She lead the team with 7 hits. She was almost untouchable in the Championship game, striking out 12 batters while giving up just 1 hit and allowing only 1 run.

What a great way to end the season! The girls continue to make us proud.

On a sad note two Lady Grenades played their final tournament in 10 and under. Gracie and Madi will be missed. Great girls on and off the field. The coaches, parents and teammates wish you good luck in 12 and under.

Come let these girls wash your car!!! They just had practice for almost 4 hours and need another workout. Advance auto next to goodwill in Cartersville. Will be here until 5:00!!

Lady Grenades will have a CAR WASH!! Saturday June 21st, (tomorrow!!) 1:30-5:00 in the Goodwill Shopping Center at Autozone in Cartersville. We know a lot of folks who love to shop at the Goodwill. The girls can get your car all cleaned up while you shop. Need windshield wipers from Autozone or refill your washer fluid? We can help with that too. Come out and support the Lady Grenades Softball Team!!!

After finishing 2nd in their last tournament, the girls started the day with a goal to return to the championship game and get another shot to take home the crown. They started slow in the first 2 games before catching fire and winning 3 straight in dramatic fashion. They were tested in each game. The final 2 contests turned out to be great pitchers' duels. The girls had to fight and claw in each game to manufacture runs and hold their opponents at bay. They won a close hard fought game 1 to 0 to reach the championship game. In the championship the girls were motivated and wasn't about to settle for 2nd again. They battled until the end to win the Championship 4 to 2. Madi was named Tournament MVP. She had a stellar performance on the mound striking out 19 batters in the final 2 games. It’s exciting to see the team continue to improve in each tourney. We can't me more proud and happy for the girls. Go Grenades!!! BOOM!!

LADY GRENADES take 2nd Place in Rome!! These outstanding girls played awesome all day. They only allowed 2 earned runs in their first 3 games while racking up 21 runs on offense. They earned top seed going into bracket play. They lead in the championship game after each of the first 3 innings before loosing a heart-breaker in the final inning. We are so proud of our girls. They have improved in every tournament they have played. Their dedication and hard work to the game they love is certainly paying off. Way to go Grenades!!
