🚨 SWIMMER OF THE WEEK 🚨

We are a little late with our last swimmer of the week of the season, but it goes to senior Josh Winters! Josh has been a fantastic leader and captain for our team! He works hard in the pool and in the weight room and it has culminated in a great career! He will compete in his final meet at state this week in the 100 butterfly and as a member of all 3 relays!

County Recap ⬇️

The Broncos had a huge day at the 2026 Forsyth County Championship! Both the boys & girls teams finished 5th overall.

The girls 400 free relay of Adele Sankowski, Joslyn Dodson, Ashely Gerstein, & Kaylee Avitable demolished the previous school record by 6 seconds!

The quartet of Cole Allen, Griffin Segrest, Josh Winters, & Jake record dismantled their own relays records in the 200 medley & 400 free relays!

Adele Sankowski rebroke her own records in the 50 free & 100 free on her way to two county titles.

Cole Allen rebroke his own records in the 200 IM & 100 back on his way to podium finishes. He also took down his older brother’s two year old record in the 100 free as the lead off leg of the 400 free relay!

In between prelims & finals, Ellie Enterline had the best performance of all the Bronco divers placing 9th overall and yet again setting a new school record mark!

Last stop….GHSA State Championship! The Broncos are state bound!

Huge shoutout to our podium finishers yesterday at the Forsyth County Championship!

Adele Sankowski became the first swimmer in program history to win a county title! She swept the sprint free events taking both the 50 & 100 freestyles! 🥇

Cole Allen returned to the podium again this year bringing home a couple of 3rd place finishes in the 200 IM & 100 backstroke! 🥉

CHAMPIONSHIP DAY!

The Broncos are competing in the Forsyth County Championship meet today! Full day of action with prelims, diving, & finals!

It also senior day! We want to take a moment and congratulate our awesome 6 seniors: Mackenzie Hatton, Jake Reber, Jackson Sawyer, Griffin Segrest, Josh Wineland, & Josh Winters. Thank you for everything you have contributed to our program.

BIG DAY FOR THE BRONCOS! 🐴

Overall the boys finished 1st, the girls were 2nd, and the team finished for a combined 1st overall!

Ellie Enterline made school history by becoming the first girl diver to qualify for state (breaking her own school record in the process)!

Adele Sankowski took home 2 wins in record breaking fashion lowering her own school records. Cole Allen added 2 wins in the 200 free & 100 back! Kaylee Avitable won the 500 free & Griffin Segrest won the 100 breaststroke!

The Broncos also took 1st place in 5 of the 6 relays! Next up is the Forsyth County Championship next weekend!

🚨 SWIMMER OF THE WEEK 🚨

This week’s swimmer of the week is Kye Calkins! Kye has made huge leaps in his second year on the team. Consistency is the best word that describes Kye. He is at practice every single day and is putting in the work! He swam his way on to the state team in meet #1 and hasn’t looked back!
