Good evening, Dallastown Basketball Families!

It's that time of year!! Dallastown Youth Basketball (DYBO) registration is NOW OPEN for the 2026-2027 season! Please read this carefully.

The registration fee for 3rd through 6th grade is $225. Your registration fee covers: a tryout numbered pinnie, which you will keep to use as a practice pinnie for the season, a uniform, gym rentals, and league / referee fees for the season.

Travel and Rec Leagues for Grades 3rd through 6th will have tryouts the week of September 26th.

Boys will be held on Monday, September 28th and Wednesday, September 30th.
The girls will be held on Tuesday, September 29th and Thursday, October 1st, in the evenings.
More details on time and location will be communicated at a later date. Please note your child must be in 3rd - 6th grade and attend or live in the Dallastown Area School District to participate in either travel or our rec leagues, there are no exceptions.
On our first tryout night, your child will recieve a numbered, reversible pinnie which they will wear to tryouts both days. These pinnies will also be utilized during the season at practice. You will need to try on sample uniforms and record the sizes that you will need. A Google Form will be sent out after tryouts and teams are formed for you to select the uniform sizes.

Please know that all teams are contingent on having coaches and gym space. WE WILL NEED VOLUNTEER COACHES! Our goal is to give every child the opportunity to play, therefore we need you!

Both our Travel and Rec programs participate in York County Leagues. Our Travel Teams participates in the YAYBL (York Adams Youth Basketball League) and our Recreational Teams participate in the YCBAA (York County Basketball Athletic Association). Both our Recreational Teams and Travel Teams will practice during the week, one or two times per week at a Dallastown School. Games will occur on the weekends. Both Travel and Rec seasons typically run from the beginning of November until the beginning of March with all games located in York County. Our Varsity High School Coaches and Staff (Boys and Girls) will be helping with placement of all children to ensure they are in the correct league to match their current skill set and overall basketball knowledge.

Skillbuilders Program is also open for registration for any child in grades 1st - 3rd. This will be held on Saturdays or Sundays at Loganville-Springfield Elementary School. The cost for this program is $105 and includes a ball and gym rentals.

Dallastown Youth Basketball Organization (DYBO) is a program that offers Travel and Rec leagues (within York and eastern Adams County) and Skill Builders. This program is offered for students who are currently enrolled in the Dallastown Area School District in grades 1 – 6.

Whether your player is just getting started or looking to take the next step, these open gyms are a great way to develop skills, get extra reps, and enjoy the game all summer.

This is a simple summer workout for rising 2- 6th grade players, both boys and girls. To encourage working on your shot/game this off season-- we are encouraging all players to track their numbers during workouts this summer. THE SUMMER OF HOOPS!! Dallastown coaches will be checking this throughout the summer. Top three 2 - 6th grade total makes for the summer will win an Indoor Baden Basketball courtesy of Coach Grassel and the Dallastown Boys' Basketball Program. Younger players-- just do the shots in your shooting range and put zero for threes. You can do as many workouts in a day as you can!!

📣 COMMUNITY SEND-OFF! 📣
SAFER and the Dallastown Basketball Booster Club would like to invite our entire community to join us this Friday at 2:45 PM along the streets surrounding the Dallastown Fire Department to cheer on our Dallastown Girls Basketball Team as they head to their first-ever State Final game! 🏀💙🤍
🚗 Parking will be available beside the fire station.
🚌 The team bus is expected to drive through at approximately 3:00 PM.
Bring your signs, your spirit, and your loudest voices as the bus passes by on its way to make school history. Let’s show these girls how proud we are!
Following the send-off, SAFER and York Township Fire Departments will proudly es**rt the team from the Dallastown Station up Queen Street to I‑83. 🚒🚓
Let’s pack the streets and give them a send-off they’ll never forget!
