Impact Gold North Texas is back for our second round of tryouts this Saturday!

We had a great turnout last weekend and saw a lot of talented athletes compete. We’ve already added some strong pieces, but we’re still looking for a few additional athletes to round out an already talented roster for Impact Gold NTX National 14U.

If you’re looking for a competitive environment focused on development, accountability, competing at a high level, and preparing athletes for what’s next, we’d love to see you this weekend.

To our 2029s,

As you move on to 16U, I want you to carry a few things with you that are bigger than softball.

Always have the highest level of respect—for the game, for your teammates, for your coaches, your opponents, and most importantly, for yourself.

Let your ability speak for itself. Let your passion, your grit, and your love for this game shine through your actions. Stay humble in your victories, stay respectful in defeat, and never forget that character will always take you farther than talent alone.

You're going to have days where nothing feels like it's going right. Days where you feel like you've hit a wall and can't seem to do anything right. When those moments come, remember this:

It's just a bad day—not a bad future.

Take one more step forward. Then another. I promise you that success is often waiting just on the other side of the line you're afraid to cross. Opportunity is there. Growth is there. Confidence is there. Have faith in yourself. Trust the work you've put in, and keep moving forward.

I have absolutely no doubt that every one of you is capable of doing amazing things, both on and off the field.

I was truly blessed to coach the Class of 2029. Thank you for trusting me, and thank you to your families for believing in both me and our organization. That trust is something I will never take for granted.

This group will always have a special place in my heart, and I can't wait to watch each of you continue your journey.

Now...

To our 2030s and 2031s...

It's your turn.

Rise up. Carry the flag. Continue to compete. Continue to grow—both mentally and physically. Push each other. Hold each other accountable. Chase excellence every single day.

Most importantly, never stop believing in yourselves.

The future of this program is in great hands, and I can't wait to see where your journey takes you.

We’re currently considering all positions for athletes in the 2030 & 2031 graduating classes who are ready to work, compete, and grow in a nationally competitive environment.
