SafeTacMag, LLC (Safe Tactical Magazine) has developed an innovative, yet simple, 5.56 millimeter training magazine which is designed specifically for the military's standard issue M16/M4 service rifle. Unlike the magazines currently in use, which accept live and blank ammunition interchangeably. SafeTacMag’s magazine is constructed to prevent accidental and negligent discharge of live ammunition

through its unique, patent-pending design that restricts the use of live ammunition. Therefore requires no further weapon modification in order to effectively prevent accidental and negligent discharges of live ammunition during training exercises.
