For years, yoga teachers have been accused of gatekeeping the secret. Today, we're coming clean.

Okay, not really a secret. 😆 But yoga blocks are one of the most helpful tools in the studio. They bring the floor closer, help improve alignment, create stability, support flexibility, and make poses more accessible for every body.
Can't touch your toes? Block.
Need a little extra balance? Block.
Want to practice smarter, not harder? Definitely block.
At YAM, in East Dallas, we use props all the time because yoga isn't about forcing yourself into a shape—it's about finding the version of the pose that works for you.
