Everyone has been asking me how Hyrox went so here it is! What an experience! Just two tired moms who love fitness and trying new things! When Winter first talked to me about doing this I knew it would be challenging since I am not an endurance athlete by nature. But we trained! We ran the miles we got the matching outfits, we purchased the tickets, and the flights and we were ready! It’s hard to describe the feeling when u first walk in the venue because the atmosphere is insane, the music is loud there are thousands of people there the energy is wild! Also everyone was so nice! Strangers encouraged us and cheered us on when things were tough during the race! I got sick early in the race and it took a little while for me to get myself together but I truly had the best partner! Winter was kind and patient and waited on me, we didn’t meet our goal time because I had to walk some and get my Heart Rate back down but not once did she make me feel bad for it. We pushed when it was hard and we finished! At first I was disappointed in myself because of our time but that’s only because if u know me u know I’m competitive and when I set a goal I plan to achieve it. It’s ok though, we will be back and better next time! A lot was learned! But I’m grateful for it I’m grateful for the body God has given me and the opportunity to do things like this. All the honor and glory goes to Him because when I tell u I was praying, “Lord please help me, please help me finish, I just gotta finish!”😅And He came through just like He always does! I caught my second wind about halfway through the race and started feeling much better. So instead of being disappointed, I’m turning it into gratitude🤍Also if anyone sees these photos and thinks, “Dang, Lindsey looks like she has been eating for two.” Well, I have. Surprise! Baby Williams due 2026💕
