Muscle Imbalances — one of the highest-ROI things to address when building a stronger, more capable body. ✨

Even trainers need coaching. Here’s Tryston working with Stephany on her specific movement needs and muscle imbalances.

Why we program it:
→ Build strength where she needs it most
→ Improve control and coordination through different movement patterns
→ Create better symmetry and carryover to everyday movement and training

Exercises we’re using:
→ Pull-Ups
→ Barbell Shoulder Press
→ Landmine Row
→ Low Bar Pulse Push-Ups

Form cues:

1. Control each rep instead of rushing through the movement
2. Keep the trunk stable while the limbs do the work
3. Focus on quality movement and the intended muscle—not just moving the weight

Individualized training isn’t about finding the “perfect” exercise. It’s about choosing the right exercises for YOUR body, goals, and starting point.

Push-Ups — one of the highest-ROI movements for adults. ✨

Why we program it:
→ Builds upper-body strength through the chest, shoulders, and triceps
→ Teaches your shoulders and core to work together to create a strong, stable position
→ Carries over to everyday pushing, pressing, getting up from the floor, and other upper-body movements

How to do it:
• Start with 2–4 × 6–15 reps, adjusting the variation to your current strength
• 2–3× per week is plenty for most people
• Place them early in your workout when you’re fresh if strength and technique are the priority

Form cues:

1. Keep your shoulders away from your ears and establish a stable shoulder position before you start lowering.
2. Brace your core, squeeze your glutes, and maintain one straight line from your head to your heels.
3. Lower your chest under control, then push the floor away as you press back up.

If a floor push-up isn’t there yet, that’s completely fine. Use an incline—bench or wall—and build your way down. The goal is to train the movement at a level you can actually control.

A good push-up isn’t just about having strong arms. Your setup determines how efficiently you can use that strength.

Meet Amna✨

When she booked the Starting Point Session: She wanted to get stronger, improve her balance, and tone up—but needed a structured approach to help her make consistent progress.

A Year later: Amna has improved her movement quality, gotten stronger and more confident with her balance, AND made major improvements to her nutrition.

What actually changed:
→ Individualized programming focused on building strength, improving balance, and developing better movement mechanics.
→ Nutrition coaching helped her make better food choices and build habits that support her goals.
→ Consistent coaching and accountability kept her focused on making progress both inside and outside the gym.

This is what individualized programming and professional coaching look like. Not random workouts. Not guesswork. A plan built for Amna’s body, schedule, and goals — and executed with structure.

Real People. Real Results.

Ever wondered what it’s actually like to train at Elevate? Come on in. 👋

From the moment you walk through the door, everything is designed with one goal in mind: helping you move and perform better.

You’ll find:

→ A dedicated warm-up area for mobility, activation, and movement prep
→ A full strength floor with dumbbells, racks, benches, TRX, and cables
→ Turf for sled work, carries, lunges, and conditioning
→ Assault Bikes, an Assault Runner, and SkiErg for when conditioning makes sense 😅
→ Showers and bathrooms so you can head straight to work afterward

But the equipment is only part of it.

What makes Elevate different is how we use the space. Your training isn’t built around whatever equipment happens to be available that day. It’s built around your body, your goals, and your starting point.

And if you think this looks good… 👀

Something new is coming soon.

We’re working on our next Elevate facility, and we’re not quite ready to show you everything yet—but trust us, you’re going to want to see it.

Want to come check us out? DM us START and we’ll walk you through the next steps.

If you think your spine’s only job is to keep you upright, this is for you. 👇

What most people are doing:
Treating the spine like something that should either be completely stiff or avoided whenever a movement feels challenging.

Why it fails:
Your spine is designed to do more than just hold you up. It provides support, allows movement, protects the spinal cord, and helps transfer force between your upper and lower body. The goal isn’t to eliminate spinal movement—it’s to develop the strength and control to manage it.

What actually works:

1. Build spinal integrity — learn to create stability and control when your body needs it.
2. Train movement in all directions — flexion, extension, rotation, and lateral flexion all have a place when appropriately loaded.
3. Progress gradually — expose your spine to increasing levels of load and movement so it can build capacity over time.

A strong spine isn’t a spine that never moves. It’s a spine that can move, stabilize, and handle the demands you place on it.

At Elevate, we train movement with purpose—building strength and capacity for the things you actually want to do.

No cookie-cutter plans. No fear-based training. Just individualized coaching built around your body and goals.

Most adults don't know this. 💳💪

Personal training may be HSA/FSA eligible—meaning your training could be paid for with pre-tax dollars when you qualify through proper medical documentation.

Three things to know:
→ HSA/FSA eligibility typically requires a qualifying medical condition and documentation from your healthcare provider.
→ Once approved, eligible funds can often be used toward personal training designed to support your health needs.
→ We partner with Truemed to help make the eligibility process simple and guide you through the next steps.

We help clients navigate this every week. If you've got HSA or FSA funds sitting unused, it's worth finding out if you qualify before that money goes to waste.
