The Mopar Racers have lost a great man. I have no words just respect for the Mopar brotherhood and dedication it takes. That alone tells you who these men are. The passion it takes goes beyond racing, its family, friends, God. You name it, they all have the It. God speed Big John Briggs. Prayers & Condolences for all his Family and Friends. It is with great sadness and the heaviest of hearts that we share, the world lost a great crew chief, and even more importantly, a great human, grandfather, father and husband, John Briggs.

John had a heart event a couple weeks back and was battling his way back after bypass surgery but so very sadly, he passed away last night.

I will not ever forget how John came by the booth, back in our first PRI as Blackbird Performance, and with his sharp inquisitive mind explored the idea of running the G3 Hemi in Super Dirt Late Model against all the well proven, predominantly Chevy based engines. What seemed like a long shot, turned into a proven reality because of the driving force of this man and the Briggs Race Team.

Today, we are on our knees praying for this family and team, asking God for their comfort in this extremely difficult time.

God Speed John, you will be so greatly missed.

While everyone is waiting on Mopars return to Nascar in 2027 with a Hemi powered cup car. Come on out to Caraway Speedway tonight for some Grand National Super Series action and see the Hemi powered GNSS #42 , The Series & I have been working with this awesome powerplants for a few years now, so no waiting its prime time in the GNSS.

Almost finished with a 347cid spec type engine for the dyno testing.

In the air doing some nut and bolt things, be a long day trying to make the GNSS race at Newport TN. Never enough time for racecar work.

New spec 347 wet sump Gen 3 hemi project coming along. Short block assembled by Saturday maybe long block by Sunday.
