Home services are built inside deeply personal spaces.

When a team enters someone’s home, they are not just delivering a service. They are entering a place connected to family, routines, trust, privacy, stress, pride, and peace of mind.

In this episode of The Bliss Business Podcast, we welcome Michael Silva-Nash, President of Molly Maid®, part of the Neighborly family of home service brands.
This conversation continues the learning we began in July with Mike Davis, CEO of Neighborly, where we explored empathy, culture, and human-centered leadership at scale.

Michael brings more than two decades of experience within the Molly Maid network, including 12 years as a multi-location franchise owner before stepping into corporate leadership. Today, as President of Molly Maid, he brings both local-owner insight and brand-level perspective to a company with 246 locations.

In Emotional Intelligence at Home-Service Scale, we explore:
• Why emotional intelligence matters in home services
• How trust is built when teams work inside customers’ homes
• What Michael learned as both a franchise owner and brand president
• How franchise systems can support owners, teams, and customers with empathy
• Why operational excellence begins with understanding people
• How Molly Maid and Neighborly bring care, consistency, and culture to local communities

People often ask me, “What exactly is neuroscience-based coaching? What is neuroplasticity, and how does it actually work?”

Neuroscience-based coaching is an important part of my EmpathIQ Framework™.

And rather than simply explain neuroplasticity to you, I’d rather invite you to experience it.

So here’s my 90-day challenge.

For the next 90 days, the moment you wake up, say to yourself:

“Today is going to be a great day.”

That’s it.

Every morning. For 90 days.

Here’s why.

At its core, neuroscience-based coaching is about understanding that what we consistently say, think, and repeat becomes a form of programming.

Not overnight. Slowly. Consistently. Persistently.

Practice a new thought pattern long enough, and your brain begins to reinforce that pattern until it starts becoming part of how you see yourself.

In other words, it begins to become part of your identity.

And that matters because our actions tend to follow our identity.

If I believe I’m someone who always finds something wrong, my brain becomes very good at finding evidence to support that identity.

But if I begin to see myself as someone who looks for what’s good, something different happens.

I start looking for what’s good.

I start expecting possibilities instead of only problems.

And even when difficult things happen, I become more likely to look for the lesson, the opportunity, or the silver lining.

That’s the point of this challenge.

You’re not pretending difficult things don’t happen. You’re intentionally training your brain in what to look for when they do.

That’s neuroscience-based coaching in its simplest form.

What you repeatedly tell yourself influences what you believe.

What you believe shapes your identity.

And your identity influences how you show up in the world.

So let’s experience neuroplasticity together.

For the next 90 days, start every morning with one sentence:

“Today is going to be a great day.”

Practice it for 90 days.

Then, hopefully, keep it for life.

It’s a remarkably simple blueprint for building a better one.

If you accept the challenge, type in the comments:

“I ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE.”

Let’s see who we become 90 days from now.

Beauty and wellness brands are built on more than services.
They are built on trust, consistency, confidence, and the relationships created inside every local studio.

In this episode of The Bliss Business Podcast, we welcome John Babcock, Brand President of The Lash Lounge, part of the Head to Toe Brands platform. This conversation is especially meaningful because we hosted Meg Roberts, CEO of Head to Toe Brands, on the show in June to explore how franchise leadership, culture, mentorship, and connection shape growth across beauty and wellness brands. Now, we get to continue that learning from the brand-president perspective.

John has served as Brand President of The Lash Lounge for two years. He is also a franchisee himself, having joined The Lash Lounge system in 2018, and currently owns two salons in the Detroit metro area. That gives him a rare view of the brand from both sides: executive leadership and local ownership.

Before entering the beauty and wellness space, John spent 25 years in the technology services industry, holding roles across software engineering, direct sales, sales management, operations, business ownership, and executive leadership. He brings an entrepreneurial lens to brand growth, shaped by experience building businesses organically, through acquisitions, and through strategic partnerships.

In Connection at The Lash Lounge, we explore:
• How community is built inside a beauty and wellness franchise
• What John has learned as both Brand President and franchisee
• Why culture must live locally, not just at the brand level
• How The Lash Lounge creates trust through confidence, care, and consistency
• What Head to Toe Brands is building across its portfolio of beauty and wellness concepts
• How franchise systems can support owners, teams, guests, and communities

Personal branding is often misunderstood.

For many people, it feels like self-promotion, performance, vanity metrics, or trying to become louder in an already noisy world. But Vanessa Errecarte offers a more thoughtful path: personal branding rooted in service, clarity, credibility, and contribution.

In this episode of The Bliss Business Podcast, we welcome Vanessa Errecarte, CEO of Marketing Simplified, author of Valuable & Visible: Redefining Personal Branding by Leading with Impact Over Image, and lecturer at the UC Davis Graduate School of Management, where she teaches Strategic Branding, Digital Marketing, and Personal Branding. Her book was inspired by the lessons she teaches her students and reframes personal branding as a service-first discipline for professionals who want credibility, not clout.

In Personal Branding That Builds Trust, we explore:
• Why personal branding should be about service, not self-promotion
• How visibility can help meaningful ideas and expertise reach the right people
• Why teaching is one of the most powerful forms of leadership
• How students and professionals can build credibility without becoming performative
• Why trust grows when people lead with contribution
• How personal branding can create connection, opportunity, and impact

Visibility is not the goal by itself. The deeper opportunity is to become visible for the value you create, the people you serve, and the contribution you are here to make.

Christine is an enterprise narrative strategist and trusted C-suite advisor with more than two decades of experience building brands and helping organizations navigate growth, market transitions, and complex communication challenges. Some leaders grow businesses. Others grow movements.

In this special return episode of The Bliss Business Podcast, we are honored to welcome back Lisa Druxman, Founder of FIT4MOM, speaker, author, and longtime advocate for women, wellness, and community.

Lisa first joined us on August 29, 2024, for a beautiful conversation on Building Community and Connections in Business, where she shared how FIT4MOM became more than a fitness organization: it became a powerful support network for mothers navigating every stage of motherhood.
Now, nearly two years later, we are excited to continue learning from Lisa through a new conversation on Conscious Growth: Scaling Without Sacrificing Culture, Trust, or Wellbeing.

FIT4MOM is the nation’s leading company for pre- and postnatal health, wellness, and fitness programs for every stage of motherhood. Through its franchise model, it empowers women to become leaders in their communities and build businesses while raising children.

In Conscious Growth the FIT4MOM Way, we explore:
• How leaders can scale without losing the soul of the business
• Why culture must be protected as growth accelerates
• How trust becomes a leadership system, not just a feeling
• Why wellbeing should be designed into the way companies grow
• What community-centered businesses can teach us about sustainable scale
• How founders can evolve without drifting from their original purpose

A cat café is more than coffee and cats. At its best, it is a place where people connect, shelter animals find homes, and business becomes a bridge between purpose and community.

In this episode of The Bliss Business Podcast, we welcome Sandra Cagan, Founder and Owner of Orlando Cat Café, the first cat café in the state of Florida. Founded in 2016, Orlando Cat Café partners with animal welfare organizations and café partners to create a welcoming space where guests can relax, connect, and meet adoptable cats.

Sandra’s work sits at the intersection of animal welfare, hospitality, franchising, and community impact. Orlando Cat Café’s franchise model is built around what the brand calls “purr-pose and commerce,” helping shelter cats connect with loving homes while creating a replicable business model for cat lovers and community-minded entrepreneurs.

In Cats, Coffee, and Conscious Franchising, we explore:
• How animal welfare and business can work together
• Why cat cafés create meaningful community connection
• How purpose can be built into a franchise model
• What hospitality looks like when comfort, care, and adoption meet
• Why local partnerships are essential to impact
