Wrestling season is right around the corner! If your wrestler competes with a local school or youth club but wants additional high-level training, Slate Wrestling Academy is here to supplement their season.

📅 November–February
💪 Flexible training options, we can work around your school club schedule.

At Slate’s, we focus on developing complete wrestlers through:

• Strong fundamentals in every position
• High-level drilling and live wrestling
• Toughness, discipline & accountability
• Quality partners who will push your wrestler
• Extra mat time to reinforce what they’re learning with their school club

Our goal is not to replace your school program, it’s to give wrestlers another place to improve, get quality reps, and continue developing throughout the season.

🔥🤼 THE ROAD TO THE TRIPLE CROWN STARTS NOVEMBER 7TH! 🏆

Slate Wrestling Academy is excited to host the first tournament of our Triple Crown Series!

The Triple Crown will feature three tournaments throughout the wrestling season, highlighting all three styles of wrestling:

🥇 Folkstyle
🥇 Freestyle
🥇 Greco-Roman

We’re kicking things off with FOLKSTYLE on November 7th!

📅 Saturday, November 7, 2026
📍 Temple High School – Temple, GA
🤼 Divisions: 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U & 16U (not in high school)

💥 ALL WRESTLERS WELCOME! From first-year wrestlers to experienced competitors, everyone is encouraged to come compete!

🏆 This is just the beginning! Wrestlers will have the opportunity to compete across all three styles as they chase the TRIPLE CROWN!

🔥 SWA 2026–2027 WRESTLING SEASON SCHEDULE IS HERE! 🔥

It’s time to get to work! 💪🤼‍♂️

We’re excited to officially release our Slate Wrestling Academy tournament schedule for the upcoming season!

This year, we’ve put together a competitive schedule designed to challenge our wrestlers, build confidence, and prepare our team to compete at the highest level.

🏆 TWO COMPETITION SCHEDULES!

🔹 1st Year Wrestlers: Opportunities for our beginners to gain valuable mat experience, develop confidence, and grow throughout the season.

🔹 Experienced Wrestlers: A challenging schedule featuring open tournaments, Hammer events, duals, and postseason competition.

Our goal is simple: Develop wrestlers, compete against tough competition, and continue building one of the best wrestling programs in Georgia!

📅 First Tournament: November 7th
📍 Temple High School

Parents, please review the attached schedule and start planning ahead. Consistent training, commitment, and competition are what separate good wrestlers from great ones.

Huge congratulations to Hunter on bringing home the 8U 50lb Cosmic Combat National Championship! 💪🔥

What makes this even better is the progress Hunter continues to show! After recently getting a big win over an opponent who had beaten him before at another tournament, Hunter kept that momentum rolling and brought home a national title!

That’s what it’s all about! Learning from losses, putting in the work, and getting better every single week!

Proud of you, Hunter! Keep grinding! The hard work is paying off! 💪
