A message from Glenn’s family.

💔 It is with heavy hearts that we ask our community, friends, family, players, and fellow coaches for support during one of the most difficult moments our Venom family has ever faced.
Yesterday, we lost Glenn Goodrich — founder of Venom Baseball, mentor, coach, brother, and a father figure to so many young athletes. Glenn dedicated countless hours to helping kids grow not only as players, but as young men and women through love, discipline, guidance, and service.
Unfortunately, Glenn did not have life insurance, and his family is now facing unexpected funeral expenses during this heartbreaking time.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Glenn Goodrich, a beloved coach and pillar of the Cedar Hill Venom Baseball family.
Glenn dedicated years of his life to this program — not just teaching the game, but shaping young athletes into confident, resilient, and hardworking individuals. His impact reached far beyond the diamond. He showed up for every practice, every game, and every player who needed him, and he did it all with a passion that was impossible to miss.
To know Coach Glenn was to know someone who genuinely cared — about the sport, about the team, and most of all, about the kids. He leaves behind a legacy measured not in wins and losses, but in the countless lives he touched along the way.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, and everyone in the Venom community who had the privilege of knowing him.
Rest easy, Coach. 🖤⚾
