Branch Warren: "When you train legs, you find out a lot about yourself—you find out how badly you really want it. And sometimes, people find out they don’t want it as bad as they thought they did.
Leg day is different. It’s painful. It’s nauseating. And if you say you’ve trained legs hard and you’ve never thrown up—you’ve never trained legs hard.
Less than one out of ten people actually train their legs hard. I think people think they do, but most of them don’t—until one day they finally do it and realize, oh, this is hard leg training."
