The TCT family would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Mrs. Shirley Payne, a true Texas twirl legend. Rest well Miss Shirley! ❤🕊

The Texas Twirling community lost a very special lady on Monday. NBTA Judge, Texas Touch of Class Director/Coach, and friend/mentor to many, Shirley Payne was one of a kind and a very important part of shaping Texas Twirling into what it is today. You could always count on Shirley to be honest and fair, and to have her hair p**f on point. Her sparkling smile will be greatly missed by her family, her students, and her twirling friends all over the country. Rest In Peace Shirley. loves you!
