The battlefield teaches something most people don’t want to hear: strength isn’t always movement. Sometimes strength is restraint. Sometimes strength is watching, waiting, and refusing to let emotion pull you out of position.
A warrior who reacts to everything becomes controlled by everything.
Scripture says:
“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him…” — Psalm 37:7
Patience is not weakness. It’s discipline under pressure. It is trusting timing over impulse and purpose over emotion.
Wait. Watch. Prepare.
