One question that's worth more than any breakdown you could give them:

"What would you do differently if you played that game again?"

Then let them answer without adding to it. Whatever they say is the thing they're actually ready to work on — which is rarely the thing you'd have picked.

"My kid gets nervous when I'm tracking."

Then don't tell them the number until after — or don't tell them at all.

This isn't a scoreboard for your child. It's information for you, so the next conversation with the coach or the trainer starts somewhere useful.

Plenty of parents track quietly for a season before their kid ever sees a chart.
