YAGP Finals Pt 1 ⭐️ HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TDC and thank you for an exhilarating week at Finals 2026! We could not be more excited about our experience, or the results! We’re immensely proud of our 34 dancers, many experiencing their personal best onstage at Houston’s fabulous Center! All 34 dancers performed with truly memorable technique and artistry!
Incredibly … among nearly 2,000 dancers from 40+ countries, TDC was recognized with a thrilling🥉 3rd Place Classical Pas De Deux, (3) Top 12 awards including a classical soloist, a Junior Final Round invitee, and many wonderful scholarships!

Congratulations to #353 Georgia Reed, selected for Junior Final Round today Finals, 10am CST 💕🩰✨

We couldn’t be more proud of this exceptional artist! Georgia, 12, has earned many 1st Place and Top 3 awards at YAGP and other competitions, and ultra-prestigious scholarships to top ballet schools! She recently played Clara in TDC’s Nutcracker, and was called back for the role of Clara in NYC’s Radio City Christmas Spectacular 2026!!

Toi toi toi, Georgia! You are a shining light with a bright future!! Your teachers have enjoyed helping you to this moment since you were young, with your consistently professional approach to every minute of hard work over the years 💪💕 Enjoy this incredible experience that you have earned!! ✨💐✨

All seven classical, neoclassical and contemporary pieces perform today (Friday) or Sunday and feature 34 TDC Pre-Pro dancers ages 9-17!

YAGP FINALS BEGIN MONDAY! ✨We’re excited to introduce our incredible 11 Soloist Finalists and 13 Ensemble/Pas de Deux/ Duets✨!

First up: our 4 Pre-Competitive Females dancing both Classical and Contemporary 🩰🔥

We are thrilled for our traveling dancers! Huge congratulations to Emma, age 11, on achieving TDC’s 12th Hope Award! She gave two memorable performances at YAGP Philadelphia this past weekend … but because of the blizzard, the competition ended early and awards were announced virtually last night! She DID have the thrill of meeting YAGP Judge and former ABT superstar Gillian Murphy, who will be coming to TDC to teach week of June 8th!!!! 🎉 Emma is in her 3rd year as a TDC Pre-Pro and has attended Finals as a soloist since 2024.

Casimir, age 11, is in his 2nd year with TDC Pre-Pro, and achieved Top 3 Contemporary (Denver) and Top 12 Classical (Nashville).

Keely Wilson, age 13, is in her 1st year of Pre-Pro with TDC! She achieved Top 24 Junior in both Classical and Contemporary in Nashville.

Thank you to all teachers, coaches, choreographers, parents and siblings! Special shout out to Emma’s mother Christa, who traveled to Philly knowing a storm was coming! ❄️🌨️✈️

We absolutely loved our time with ADCIBC Dallas and are always excited for the format of the competition with adjudicated class work! 🎉🩰👏 Much gratitude to and ADCIBC, and to all TDC faculty, coaches, choreographers, dancers and families for your tremendous effort since August preparing for the 2026 season! SAB Winter Ball ‘26 at Lincoln Center was a dream 🖤✨ 4 TDC alumni, now year-round SAB students, danced on America’s finest dance stage for an audience of 2,500 that raised 1.2 million dollars for SAB! One TDC alumna, , was featured throughout the hour long performance — including a film about just two SAB student choreographers, of which Leah was one! 🌟 Huge congratulations to and .bourree.dancer on your gorgeous performances!💐💐💐💐

We are so proud of our dancers and are sorry Morgan could not join us for photos after! Enjoy these snaps and see if you can pick out our alumni in the videos! TDC Founder and Director Jacqueline Porter was thrilled to attend and see the evening’s featured choreographer, NYCB’s whom she has known since Laine was an uber-talented 12 year old and the winner of Ms. Jacqueline’s “Dallas Dance Off” competition years ago (Laine is from Dallas!) 💕 Ms. Habony has been TDC Guest Faculty since 2020 and we look forward to having her again soon! Ms. Habony’s piece, Schubert Symphony, masterfully showed the talents of 130+ SAB students. Our four dancers shone brightly!

Ms. Jacqueline also loved seeing TDC Summer Intensive student .kiefer , now with !

Not pictured: Film featuring Leah Carter and one other SAB student! Leah spoke beautifully on the huge screen filling the stage, and we saw her working wonderfully with her dancers.

Look-back photos include Leah’s and Anniston’s covers of the SAB summer brochure 2024 and 2026, and their photo taken together in TDC mini company ages 6 and 7!

Leah is now 17, Anniston is 16, and Caroline and Morgan are 15. We are thrilled for these talented artists and wish them many happy years dancing and beyond! Their futures are so bright! ✨✨✨✨

✨THANK YOU YAGP and HUGE CONGRATS TDC 🏆! Proud of our 11th Outstanding School Award and 1st Place Classical winner .hamburger.dance among so many incredible awards and scholarships✨!

We had an Arctic blast at YAGP Dallas❄️!! 4 days of competition were condensed to 2 marathon days because of the ice storm, and everyone went the extra mile to make a huge success!

We were thrilled and honored to receive an incredible (16) Top 3 placements 🥳 as well as (11) Top 12 and (4) Top 24 !!!! (Be sure to see previous posts for more 2026 results since Fall).🌟

YAGP DALLAS PART 1/3: Fashion! Check out our soloists, pas de deux, small ensembles and large ensembles! Huge thanks to all of our costume makers, especially and .joy25 🌟🌟 Grateful to have won our 1️⃣1️⃣th Outstanding School Award — full award results on next posts!
We had the very best time at YAGP Dallas despite the ice storm forcing us to compact most of the 4 day competition into just 2 days - this meant that TDC presented almost 80 pieces in those 2 days! Unfortunately we had to reschedule 6 of our senior contemporary pieces which couldn’t perform because of the storm, but happily they have been invited to dance (along with all seniors not seen) in future cities during the 2026 season.

Our gratitude to for a superb job handling such a difficult Mother Nature situation! Your wonderful judges and staff worked 28 hours Thursday and Friday — and were still smiling and positive until we were all asked to exit the building at midnight with our tutubags! All senior dancers are to be commended for their incredible resilience, with some of our own TDC dancers competing their difficult variations after a 10-14 hour day!
We are delighted with the recognition we received for our work. See next post for results! Congratulations to all! 💐💐💐
