We love seeing dogs on the Katy Trail! Please remember that all dogs must be on a physical leash. Electronic leashes do not comply with the Dallas City Ordinance.

Keeping your dog leashed helps prevent unexpected encounters with runners, walkers, cyclists, and other pets, making the Trail safer and more enjoyable for everyone.

What a morning 🌤
Tacos, açaí bowls, N/A beer, filtered water, coffee, wear tests, sock swag, FIFA-ready giveaways, Vitaminwater, incredible soccer swag, ER stuff to keep you safe and to top it all off, helping get everyone pumped up for the 28th Annual Katy 5K!
A special shout-out to all the pups who absolutely knew how to strike a pose. 🐶📸 They were the cherry on top of an already fantastic day.

Most of all, thank you to the Katy Trail community. Your energy, enthusiasm, and support are what make these events so special.

We kicked off the morning at Luke’s Locker, chased blue skies along the Katy Trail, and made our way back for breakfast burritos, shopping, and plenty of running community spirit. A major shout-out to Luke’s Locker, Brooks Running, HOKA, and Roly Poly for helping make Global Running Day 2026 such a memorable celebration.
