What do most people do when the job they want doesn’t pan out?
They make the wrong meaning out of it.
“Maybe I’m not ready, the recruiter said I didn’t have my PMP.”
“Maybe I should lower my target. I may have priced myself out.”
“Maybe the market is impossible right now and I should just take a break.”
Or, they go to the other extreme and just keep throwing spaghetti at the wall.
Applying to more jobs, taking more interviews, tweaking random things with no real strategy.
If you are looking for Sr Director - C-Suite roles, you cannot approach this at random.
You ‘ll need data.

CHALLENGE 1: I HAVE HAD MORE THAN ONE LOW BALL OFFER IN THE LAST 3 MONTHS
WHY - You did not vet the opportunity fully before immersing yourself in an interview process. By the time the offer comes, there should be very few big surprises. DO not enter interview processes for which there has been no conversation about comp ranges.
CHALLENGE 2:I HAVE HAD MORE THAN 3 FINAL ROUND INTERVIEWS FOR SKIP LEVEL ROLES WITH NO ACCEPTABLE OFFERS
WHY - You have no trouble attracting the oppirtunities which means your tangible brand elements are working - ie resume, linkedin, etc. You likely have all the credentials and qualifications required to do the job. It is likely the intangibles -your discernible personality traits and how well they align with the particular team, how well you have translated your experience to both industry and “moment in time”, your communication style, etc
