Phoenix Mercury center Brittney Griner and her teammates faced a distressing situation when confronted by a Blaze Media YouTube personality at the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. This encounter occurred after the team played games in Arlington, Texas, earlier in the week.

The incident involved Alex Stein, a social media figure known for confronting politicians. Stein posted a photograph on Twitter, claiming to have met his favorite WNBA player, and later shared a clip of him yelling at Griner during the airport encounter.
