How to win at life (horse person edition) 🐴🤣
Step 1:
Let people buy the horse. Don't buy the horse. Compete every weekend. Never compete. Ride bitless. Ride in a bridle. Hike for miles. Stay in the arena. Feed garlic. Don't feed garlic.( As long as welfare and ethics come into the mind....but remember not everyone will have the same morals and values as you...its a hard one! )
And while they're busy doing all that...
You crack on with what makes you happy.
Because life gets a lot lighter when you stop carrying the responsibility for everyone else's choices.
The horse world can be wonderfully supportive... but it can also be full of opinions that nobody asked for.
Someone will always think you're doing too much. Someone else will think you're not doing enough.
So here's your reminder:
You don't need permission to enjoy your life.
You don't need approval to chase your goals.
And you definitely don't need to explain every decision to people who aren't feeding the horse, paying the bills, or living your life.
Stay in your lane. Cheer people on. Protect your peace.
And if all else fails...
Be more horse.
Eat your snacks. Avoid unnecessary drama. Walk away from nonsense. And find a sunny spot to stand in.
Sounds like winning to me. 🐴☀️❤️
