The Dale County Sheriff’s Office hosted its latest ladies fi****ms safety class Thursday, October 9, giving women hands-on instruction in firearm safety, storage, and shooting fundamentals.
Sheriff Mason Bynum said the training is about more than just marksmanship — it’s about empowerment. “This class gives women a chance to learn from professionals in a setting that’s comfortable, supportive, and empowering. Seeing their confidence grow from start to finish is one of the best parts of what we do,” Bynum said.
He added, “We want the ladies of our community to feel confident and comfortable around fi****ms, whether that’s at home, in their car, or on the range.”
The class is free to attend, and another session is already scheduled for November 13 at 5:00 p.m. Registration is available by calling 334-774-2335.
“Our deputies love teaching these classes because it’s not just about shooting; it’s about safety, confidence, and community,” Sheriff Bynum explained.
