I’ve always been someone who’s moving on to what’s next and struggle being where my feet are. It’s always another goal, challenge, or something Legendary or The Mountain Top Lodge are building.

Slowing down long enough to celebrate the experience has never come naturally to me. In fact, I am challenged by it so much that we made Celebrate Our Experience one of our core values at Legendary. �

It turns out, I need that reminder as much as anyone and the beautiful country of Croatia was a pretty incredible place to practice it.

I walked the ancient city walls, explored Old Town, soaked in the history, and took in views that are hard to put into words. I ended the day around the table with an elite meal, impeccable service, and even better company with Heather and Erika. Two of the greatest humans and leaders on Earth!

It was a chance to celebrate how far I’ve come, appreciate the people I get to share these experiences with, and actually enjoy the moments I work so hard to create.

Here’s to all of us being where our feet are and truly celebrating our experiences, the good and the bad.

One of the many things Danelle Delgado does so well with her Alpha Alliance Mastermind is create space for conversations that go well beyond the surface.

Heather and I joined her for a fireside chat here in Croatia, and business was just the starting point.

We shared our story, what it's looked like to build and lead two businesses, and some of the lessons we've learned both personally and professionally along the way.

Because reaching new levels of success doesn't mean life gets easier. Businesses grow, responsibilities change, and new challenges replace old ones — all while real life keeps happening.

What we've valued most about our time here is being with people who understand that behind every business is a life, a family, a story, and challenges that don't go away no matter how much you've built or achieved.

Last night marked the beginning of 's second Alpha Alliance Mastermind retreat of the year.

Many of the conversations started at the dinner table with business, but they didn't stay there.

Instead, they found their way to purpose, family, loss, hope, challenges, and dreams—the reasons we do what we do.

Nobody was trying to be interesting, they were interested. Fully present. There's a difference.

Work often brings us together, and genuine connection is what makes us want to come back.

One of the greatest investments you'll ever make isn't in your business, it's in the rooms you choose to enter and the people you surround yourself with.

This week, Heather, Erika, and I are in Dubrovnik, Croatia, where I'm honored to speak and facilitate at Alpha Mastermind. While I'm very grateful for the opportunity to contribute, I'm just as excited to learn from Danelle and the remarkable leaders of Alpha.

A promise I've made to our Legendary members is that I'll never stop growing. The day I believe I have all the answers is the day I stop being worthy of leading others. That's why we travel because the world is a classroom with ideas worth sharing.

To become truly Legendary, we intentionally put ourselves in environments that challenge our thinking, broaden our perspective, and expose us to new experiences and extraordinary people. Yes, we'll enjoy this incredible city, its history, and its beauty, because experiences like these remind us that life is meant to be fully lived, not just filled with work.

Every conversation and every connection has something to teach us, because leadership isn't about accumulating knowledge, it's about sharing it with others.

Over the next several days, I'll be sharing the biggest ideas we're bringing home from Croatia. My hope is that something we experience here helps you become a stronger leader, build a better business, and create a more rich, meaningful life.

I've learned over the years that success leaves clues. That's why I believe the fastest way to grow is to spend time with people who are already operating at the level you're striving to reach.

Some experiences leave a permanent imprint.

Last week Erika and I visited Paty's Kitchen—an oasis of learning, nourishment, and love tucked inside the barrio of Cabo San Lucas. Minutes from paradise, but worlds away from it.

These children are growing up in extreme poverty, but inside those walls they are fed, educated, and reminded every single day that they matter.

We held them. We played with them. We loved on them... and they didn't want us to leave.

That's profit with purpose. True leaders don't just build wealth—they build a better world. A tiny hand that won't release yours is the most powerful measure of impact you'll ever find.

52 years around the sun today, hell yes… and what a trip it’s been!

Birthdays have a way of making you pause and reflect, just take it all in… the lessons, the people, and the unexpected turns that lead you here.

I’ve been fortunate to experience a lot of life over these years. I’ve made mistakes, learned a lot along the way, and met some incredible humans who have been there through it all.

These days I’m grateful for the simple things—time in nature on a long hike, a good book (usually several at once), my dogs, and quality time spent with those I care about the most.

More than anything, I’m grateful for the people in my life… the ones who challenge me, never gave up on me, support me, trust me, and allow me to walk alongside them on their journey.

If the last 52 years have taught me anything, it’s this: life is so much richer when you’re helping other people succeed, seeing them win, and living a life full of purpose.

Grateful to be here. Grateful for the people in my life.

Tonight we celebrate 52… at 52 West Brewing with dear friends. Feels pretty fitting.

Here’s to the next chapter—may it be the most world-class and badass one yet!
