Sending a big shoutout to Lane for taking down this monster of a 15 pointer the other day! We’ve seen this buck a few times this year on camera and it finally slipped up for us. This is Lane’s first buck while being here in Illinois over the last couple of years so we’re definitely excited for him!

Each hunt tells a story, and man does this buck have a crazy story. After trying to find this buck with a tracking dog and having no success we lost hope and thought we wouldn’t find him or he could possibly still be alive… But kudos to for making a good shot on him and going with his gut instinct to go look for him one last time before heading home! We are so glad you found him Derek! What an absolute stud. Congrats!
