There has been one change to Frank’s Celebration of Life…it will still be on May 16 at 1 pm until early evening, but we will not be meeting at the cemetery. We will be at the Dafter Township Hall. Pastor Bill will say a few words in Franks honor to start the celebration and then I will have a pig roast with all the goodies. I will have a burial at a later date when I am ready…just not yet. I hope you all can make it and raise a glass or can…Frank would like that! I look forward to hearing your stories and memories. This will be a very casual event, and yes…I love kiddos, so bring them!

Just an update….the 906-632-2974 number is going to be shut off along with Franks cell. We have made so many friends and acquaintances on the preserve…Thank you all.

Franks celebration of life will be May 16 at 1 pm. We will meet at the Kinross Cemetery for a short graveside memorial service. From there, we will go to the Dafter Township Hall for a luncheon and celebration of life….as Frank would say…one hell of a party!

Frank’s obituary can be found on Family Life Funeral Home’s website. A celebration of life will be held in May tentatively. I will post the final details when everything is finalized.
Thank you for the outpouring of support…Frank would be so happy to know how many lives he has touched.

This is the hardest post to make….Frank passed away yesterday after getting his sled stuck, trying to get it out alone…not properly dressed…no cell phone. It was so cold and so much time lapsed…he died from hypothermia. The search team was awesome….they found him in the dark…they were not going to give up until they had him. He was my rock…my partner. I am so numb…

We would like to officially announce that we have decided not to open next fall. This was a decision that we struggled with. Frank has been in business since 2003…definitely not to the extent that it has been the last few years, but he still gave hunters the opportunity to enjoy pheasant hunting. We have enjoyed having you all here and sharing in your hunting experiences. Listening to your stories, watching your kiddos grow up, and seeing the differences in your dogs as they mature has been the highlights of our fall. We cannot thank you enough for everything and trusting us with your hunting experience. Mostly, thank you for truly becoming our friends.

You know where we live…feel free to stop by and say hi! We would enjoy seeing you…..take care, and thank you again!
