Region 8AAAAAA was a battleground! We are proud of our DAC Falcons and the tremendous effort and energy they put into being in the top 5 of our Region.

Congratulations to Riley Adcock on his selection to the Dacula Hall of Fame. Riley Adcock was also a Dacula thrower for the track and field program and was a point scorer on the Region Championship teams.

We are proud of you and your accomplishments, and are happy to celebrate you as a Dacula Hall Of Fame honoree.

Our 4th athlete to be inducted into this year’s HOF class was 3x All Region, 3x All County, and 2x All State performer in Football, a 2020 Wrestling State Qualifier, Signed with Mercer University for football where he holds the record for most consecutive games played (56), was named 3x All Southern Conference (2022, 2023, 2024), was Academic All District 2022 and 2023, was named Academic All American in 2024, and has the distinction of not giving up a sack as an offensive lineman in over 1500 snaps! Congrats to Riley Adcock Class of 2020!

Absolutely you cannot mention Dacula Track and Field without talking about Coach Watkins. As a head coach of the program over several years, Coach Watkins left his mark on the program, the kids, and the community. We are overjoyed that he is being recognized and honored in this way for his devotion to Dacula Track and Field.

Our first coach to be inducted into this year’s HOF class coached 3 teams to Region Championships during his career, coached 10 individual State Champions and several Gwinnett County Champions in Track and Field. This individual also coached several 8th grade Dacula GFL football teams which helped pave the way for much of Dacula Football’s success. And he started the Girls Flag Football program at Dacula and spent 31 years of teaching and coaching in Ga. Congrats to Emmett Watkins (Track and Field Coach) 2008-2021 on your induction into the Dacula Athletics HOF!
