Romero Racing Adam is entering 5 years of racing experience in the Legends division. Adam passionately races in memory of his parents, Larry and Doris Romero. Hello all!

The team is sponsored by their long time family friend, Hector Villalobos, owner of Villalobos Framing. My name is Adam and I will be debuting this year in Legend #10 car in memory of my father and mother, Larry and Doris Romero. The #10 represents my Dad's birthday and I'm driving in the colors White and Pink with a Pink Breast Cancer Awareness ribbon on the hood in honor of Mom. In March I compl

eted racing classes with Jason Irwin in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was over 8 hours of track time. Car was built by Mike G. and Danny M. A big thanks go out to Don B., Mike G. and Jason for their ongoing support and advice. Another big thanks to my crew Chris and Joan. Chris is a former JR Dragster driver. Joan is my girlfriend and my greatest supporter; she will be seen at the stands and pits with camera on hand. This year, I'm hoping to race only at CNS, which is a total of 12 races. The season starts in April and ends in October. Parking is free and general admission should be $13, Special Events run up to $16. More info about CNS can be found on ColoradoNationalSpeedway.com. After a two year hiatus, I was excited to return to my home track at CNS last Saturday. I definitely feel like a rookie again. I had to relearn how to drive, get back in the groove in preping the car in between runs, and my sore muscles are definitely reminding me how physical this sport is. The night brought back so many memories, good and bad, of what I missed and why I took a break. But my love of this sport brings me back. Of course, I made a rookie mistake by not rechecking all my bolts and my drive shaft fell apart right before the green flag for the Main. Despite not being able to finish Saturdays race, I'm already gearing up for the next one. I am truly grateful for all the support I recieved from family and friends for helping me get my car back together and for all the guidance and encouragement from the other racers and staff I met up with last Saturday. It was great to see some good friends again like Joe Starr, Danny Medina, Terry McBride, Darrel Stewart, and Abram Romero. We're looking forward to more this season and seeing everyone at the track!

Our Story

The race season starts in April and ends in October. Based in Denver, I generally race in Colorado National Speedway, and will try to race in Big Country Speedway and I-25 Speedway.
