💓💙Member Spotlight: Amy Bowman

Amy Bowman is a marketing and communications leader, entrepreneur, and passionate community advocate who has made a lasting impact on the Mississippi Gulf Coast since relocating to Biloxi in 2020.

With a background spanning healthcare marketing, investment analysis, entrepreneurship, and nonprofit leadership, Amy currently serves as Director of Marketing & Communications for Coastal Family Health Center. She also serves on the Biloxi Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and as Treasurer of the Hibernia Irish Society, where she was selected as the 2026 Colleen.

Amy’s passion for Irish culture led her to open the Niall O’Leary School of Irish Dance in 2022, bringing more than 20 years of teaching experience to Mississippi. In 2023, she founded a nonprofit dedicated to promoting Irish culture through dance, song, and music and directed the first Irish dance festival and competition on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Her leadership and contributions have earned her recognition as one of the 100 Successful Women to Know on the Gulf Coast in both 2022 and 2024. She is also the 2026 Karen Sock Woman of Achievement Young Careerist Award Winner.

Outside of work and community involvement, Amy enjoys traveling, hosting themed parties, attending the arts, and spending time with her Miniature Australian Shepherds, Merry and Pippin.

We are excited to launch a T-Shirt Design Competition for our feis weekend this October!

This contest is open to all dance families! Themes for the weekend are 50s & Classic Cars (Saturday)🏁 and Beach & Eco Friendly (Sunday)🏝️ Designs may be focused on one or both feis themes!
