September 13th and Mugenami Dojo’s open mat session is almost upon us. The session will run from 9am to 11am this next Saturday. All disciplines are invited. If you would like to lead a 10 to 15 minute session, message us so that we can block out time for you. We look forward to training with you.

Martial Arts Community—— if you are an Aikido practitioner or any practitioner of any other martial art, that might have an interest in checking out Aikido. You are welcome to join us for an open mat session on Saturday, September 13 from 9 am to 11 am. It will be a time to get to know one another and practice and exchange ideas.

The name given to our organization, Aikido Mugenami, represents my philosophy on my role as Sensei and the legacy I pursue through my teaching and development of the organization. This philosophy is also represented in the Aikido Mugenami crest by the symbolic double wave.

Mugenami Dojo was able to have 5 members attend the AAA National Instructor Seminar at Tenshinkan Dojo in Chicago, Illinois on June 7-9, 2024 under Toyoda Sensei. We had 14 hours of training over the 3 days with an awesome dinner in the dojo Saturday evening. We met fellow Aikidoka from California to North Carolina, from Texas to Spain and Belgium with Zoom Attendees. It was a great experience and we made a lot of new family. Thank you Toyoda Sensei and Tenshinkan Dojo for a fantastic seminar.

And…. If you are looking for a new experience with the start of summer, we have class this evening at 6:30 pm. The first class is free. A t-shirt and sweat pants works great. Just go to our website at….

Curiosity may have killed the cat but it certainly won’t kill you at Mugenami Dojo 👍 class tonight at 6:30. Throw on some old sweat pants and a t-shirt, break out those old volleyball knee pads and give Aikido a try with an introductory class.
