In case you haven't heard, some things have changed around here! Redemption Fitness was recently purchased by Personalized Wellness Center in Akron's Merriman Valley. Our last class at Redemption was Friday, February 14th. PWC now houses our equipment in their 26,000 square foot facility, open 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. They will continue our style of programming through their Strength and Conditioning classes offered 6 days per week. Classes have officially resumed at PWC as of today, so feel free to stop by and check them out if you're looking for a new gym to call home.
Our heart aches as we say goodbye to Redemption, a place that feels like home to us and so many. What started out as an empty room became so much more. This wasn't just a business to us, just like this wasn't simply another gym to our members. We say goodbye to not just a space; but a community, a routine, a rhythm, and a life that we loved. Many of our people came to us with trepidation, lacking self esteem and with no prior experience. To them, we say thank you for trusting us to coach, mentor and encourage you through your best and worst days. We feel privileged to have been a part of your fitness journey and thankful to have met each one of you along the way. Watching all of our people grow in confidence and strength has been the highlight of our career as gym owners. We are SO proud of all that you've accomplished in your time with us, whether it was two years or two months. Our hope is that you would feel prepared to move confidently towards your goals at a new gym with a foundation we've built together. The past two years have meant the world to us; and YOU, our members and supporters, have been our greatest joy in all of it. Even though our space is empty, the spirit of Redemption lives on in you!
