LWWC Weekend Wrestling Update
Our Ladies are putting in the time with practices and camps to prepare for duals and Fargo.
All week they were in Michigan or Columbus at camps.
What’s so awesome about these Ladies is that after a grueling training week (it was Hot!), they give back to others for the next two days.
Isabella, AJ, Olivia, Emma, Victoria, and Ava were camp counselors (even some of our young LW were helping) for the NE Ohio FCA All Abilities Camp. Our Ladies step up to challenges, but it’s nothing compared to the challenges these kids go through everyday. The FCA does a fantastic job trying to bring a little fun and joy into these kids lives. Hopefully everyone who attended this great event is a little closer to God. Thank you to Coach Clint Musser for organizing and putting this camp together. The man gives so much of himself to others in his service to Jesus Christ.

Five of our Lady Warriors were honored to be selected to be a part of the Team Ohio National Dual Team. This is a testament to the thousands of hours these girls put in to represent Team Ohio. Those ladies are Cheyenne Griffin, Victoria Thiel, Adelynn McKenzie, Isabella Thiel, and Ava Sommers.

That is not all. Three ladies, Isabella, Ava, and AJ, qualified for the US Marine Corps Juniors / 16U Nationals (Fargo) through state, regional, or national competitions. Though it is a huge honor to represent Ohio on the national stage, it also comes with huge costs associated with it.
We are trying to get just a portion of the costs involved reduced for our families.
Anything that can be provided would be greatly appreciated by these athletes.

To say thank you, the ladies will be having a wrestling clinic on Wed, June 24th, 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm, in the Walsh Jesuit Wrestling Room, 4550 Wyoga Lake Rd, Cuyahoga Falls, OH. The clinicians will be the ladies themselves, who are regularly national placers, regional/state champs, and Ironman placers. They each have their special thing to give back to wrestling. There is no charge for this event, yet any donations would be greatly appreciated.

LWWC Wrestling Weekend Update
The USAW is in full go mode now!

The Ohio 14u/16u/Juniors Team Ohio Dual camp athletes were training hard in Marysville. Seems to be second home to our Ladies this summer down there.
The LWWC will contribute with five!

16 u Isabella/ Ava/ AJ
We are deeply saddened that GG will not be able to continue to National Duals or Fargo, due to unforeseen events.

NATIONAL CHAMP ALERT!!!
The 12u FREECO Team Ohio girls traveled all the way to Nebraska, where they made a statement! They are Greco and Freestyle National Champions. The finals were tough, yet they dug deep and made it happen. So many friends of the club on that team and we love to watch them wrestle. You gals represented the OH-IO with great sportsmanship. As far as LWWC goes, there was Jules, KK, Marley, and Aria, contributing to the Champion effort.

LWWC Weekend Wrestling Update
Yet first we would like to invite any Team Ohio girls to any of our practices. We will be having one tomorrow Mon June 1st 530-7pm then every Tues/Thur 6-730, until June 11.
Marysville hosted a regional USAW Development Camp for 3 days, with Kayla Miracle being the featured clinician. Jules, AJ, GG, and Ava received some world class instruction in not only technique, yet also in strategy, nutrition, and mindset.
The LWWC would like to send a big thank you to Coach Shawn Andrews and Marysville for hosting this fantastic camp.
Isabella, Victoria, Amelia, and Noella joined our PA Lady Warrior Hadley on team Lady Assassins at Escape the Jungle Duals in the Poconos, where they were tournament champions.
Also wanted to share a cool shot of GG at State last weekend.
Next up is Team Ohio Camp and FREECO competition this weekend. The weather and mats are heating up, heading into USAW National competitions.

Big thank you to Youstina and Marisa for joining our practice tonight. These two Ladies are awesome and brought some intensity into the room! Yet they really engaged our 16u and 14u girls in our after practice huddle when they went into detail about their Team Ohio Fargo experience. It was a great discussion about the process to keep clawing and climbing to get a little better each day. If you can make it to APEX Girls Wrestling Club tomorrow, do it! No doubt Marisa and Youstina will bringing the good stuff!

LWWC Weekend Wrestling Update.
Sorry for the delay, it’s been a Monday.
Anyways, we had two ladies travel to Kentucky for the USAW Central Regional Championship. So proud of the performance of these girls.
AJ wrestled with a mission to punch her Fargo ticket for first time. She did so with an exclamation point by becoming tournament Champion!
Ava wrestled really well, yet one mistake cost her in the blood round by one point. Disappointed, yet she will forge on to get her Fargo ticket.
We also want to thank our good friends at APEX Girls Wrestling Club, Lutheran West Wrestling, and Claymont Girls Wrestling for joining us. It was a group effort of NEO clubs to make sure our Ladies had coaches / friends to hang out, console, and celebrate. We have trained with, dual teamed up with, and competed with for years now. Even though we scrap against each other often, we consider them wrestling family.
