Some pictures from our last dance competition this past weekend, Nexstar in Akron!

Highlights…

Our group jazz dance, “Too Much” received 1st in category and 5th overall.

Our group lyrical dance, “Talk Away The Dark” received 1st in category, 3rd overall, a partial scholarship to “Battle on the Seas”, and a “Golden Ticket” to Worlds.

Our trio (Emma, Melodie, and Olivia), “Next To You” received 1st in category and 2nd overall.

Emma came in 3rd overall with her lyrical solo “Let Down”.

Melodie received a full scholarship to Wild Dance Intensive this fall.

It’s been such a fun comp season with a great group of girls. They are passionate about dance, caring individuals, and just really good people. I know they will all do great things with their lives and I will miss them! 💙

We attended "Applause Talent" in Akron this past weekend and WOW this competition was huge (2 stages!!) and had some of the best talent I've ever seen! (And I've been doing this a long time!) Highlight of the weekend: Our group jazz "Too Much" and lyrical "Talk Away The Dark" both got "Elite Platinum" (the highest adjudication) and lyrical placed 6th overall and jazz 3rd overall. Lyrical was also awarded the judges award "Totally Committed" and jazz won an opportunity to go to "All Star Dancer's in NYC" this summer! It was a great way to end the weekend. Congrats to our dancers, as well as everyone else that attended this competition! We loved watching you all!!

Congrats to Emma, Melodie, and Olivia...

Their trio received platinum and 6th place overall. Olivia's solos received platinum, 7th overall for "Sky Up" and a judges "Pure Passion" award, while "Xanadu" received an "Outstanding Solo Showmanship" award.

Proud of everyone!!

4:15-5:00: Wednesday's 4:15-5:00 Combo Class

5:00-6:00: Wednesday's 5:00-6:00 Combo Class

6:00-7:00: Wednesday's 6:00-7:00 Jazz/Hip Hop Class (combined with Monday's jazz class)

7:00-7:15: Monday Tap (just run dances)

7:15-8:00: Sr Comp Practice

8:00-8:45: Monday Hip Hop
