Well, it's a post we didn't want to have to make. But after speaking with the Custer Volunteer Fire Department we have made the decision to delay the Burning of the Beetle, fireworks and torch march. Fuel dryness is high, and with the high winds expected this Thursday and Friday, it could only add to the problem. Also, we do not want to add more work to our fire resources.
That being said - we're still having a PAAAAARTYYYY! 🥳🥳🥳
🌲Educational forum on Thursday - still happening!
📚Story Time on Friday - still happening!
🎤Variety Show - still happening!
🍻Pub Crawl - still happening!
🫶🏻Music, drinks and good food - YUP. Still happening!
And then when we get some snow...WE'RE DOING IT AGAIN. The march. The fireworks. The fire. AND the bug crawl...again. 'Cause we deserve it!
We hope you still come down for a HOT time this Saturday night, just sans fire. If you have a torch ticket, hold on to it! It'll still be good for the new date.
So, to recap:
DON'T BURN BEETLE DON'T 🔥
But DO come on down for a hot time with great fun and people!
