Thank you to city council for considering our bike park proposal tonight, and to everyone who has spoken up and contributed to the Custer trails conversation!

While the council has chosen to table the proposal until the spring, the consensus appeared stronger than ever that trails are a positive development for both Custer locals and tourism.

CATS will continue developing the design and presentation of the trail network in the meantime, and we could use your help! Please send us a message to get involved, your support is appreciated!

Happy trails

Hey Custer trail users, with the approval of the Parks, Rec & Forestry board and the Custer Area Economic Development Corp we have proposed an in-town trail network at Big Rock Park that would include beginner and expert trails for hiking, biking and trail running.

The City of Custer is now accepting public comments in writing (delivered to city hall) or by email (to [email protected]). If you are unable to join the public hearing, please send in your comment anytime up until the meeting!

Good things are happening in the Custer trail scene. More new trail going in at the Ranch too. Soon enough we’ll host a ride.

The trail princess is excited to have log rides at the Ranch.

Oil and Gas Lease Threatens Legendary Moab Mountain Bike Trail

12/07/2019

‘Tis Mud Season in the Moab area. While out navigating this icky time, please remember if you come across small puddles or muddy spots to slow down and ride through them.
DO NOT RIDE AROUND THEM!!
Creeping around the edges of puddles causes trail widening and unnecessary impact off trail that is difficult to heal. Slowing down before the icky spot helps keep mud off your bike and also helps to keep soil on the trail.
Please help keep our singletrack single!
Remember if you leave a track, turn back!

See you there!
