Registration is now open!! sorry on the delay. The race date is set for September 12th, Saturday.
There is major road construction happening right now that was supposed to finish late October but I've been told what is needed will be done in July! A big portion is also supposed to be resurfaced so that should make for a nice smooth bike ride.

With it being delayed, there will not be any prize money offered this year as I have not been able to advertise the race at all. So I will be looking at getting some sort of better swag item etc.

Also, using a new registration so if you have any issues or notice anything wrong please let me know.

Sorry on the delay, but here are the overall Results. Still working on splits. Great job to everyone who raced. Once those are finished I will post them here as well. If there was a DNS or DNF I did not add them to this list.
For reference, the bike out and back was removed this year.

As for pictures, hoping to get them uploaded tonight!

Well thats it, another year in the books! Couldn't have asked for a better day for racing.
Great job to everyone who came out and endured all the distances from the Sprint to the 70.3 on one of the hardest courses out there.
I also want to shout out to all the awesome volunteers that helped with the race and even the random people that stepped in to help at random spots. And also a huge thanks to my mom for helping me do this for the past 12 years.

Going to hopefully unload everything and then start on results tomorrow afternoon. If youre curious on your time until then though I should be able to get you that when I get time.
Also got a bunch of random pictures I'll try to get uploaded tomorrow.

Again, thanks everyone for coming out, nice meeting you all, and awesome job!

Hello everyone, its about that time of the year again! So a few things, its starting to cool off in this area and up at the lake its starting to get cool at night so plan on a cooler swim.
I'm unsure of where the buffalo herd is at, but while driving through I didn't see them so they've probably moved south by now.

In other news, the swim is still flat and the elevation gain on the bike and run is still there...hasn't gone anywhere lol.

Packet pickup will be Friday the 5th from 3-7pm at the stockade lake on the east side.
You don't necessarily need to pick it up Friday but please do so not everyone is crowding it the morning of

Also, still looking for a few more volunteers for aid stations on the run so if you know anybody that would be able to please have them get ahold of me. 605-877-4598
More people in kayaks is always nice too!

I will be sending out an email in the next few days so please watch for that. Have any questions let me know!

Wildlife Loop Triathlon will be held this year on September 6th, 2025. Once again there will be prize money up for grabs. This will only be available in the 70.3 Distance. The prize money is open to anyone, including pros. $20,000 based off of 100 participants. So 100 = 100% of the prize money, 70 participants, 70%.
The breakdown is as follows.---Any questions on it please ask.
$3,000 1st
$2,000 2nd
$1,500 3rd
$1,000 4th
$ 500 5th
$ 500 6th
$ 500 7th
$ 500 8th not guaranteed atm
$ 250 9th not guaranteed atm
$ 250 10th not guaranteed atm

The last 3 are not allocated incase money needs to be spent elsewhere.

As for the race, it is extremely flat, with an occasional hill.....
