Though we did get one rental shack out in Curtis Mi (Manistique Lakes Recreation Area) Community Page for the weekend, we will bring it to shore for the next 2 weeks. One big reason is we will not be around to watch it. Another is the warm weather and not wanting to take any chances. At this time we don't even know if we will try this season. Lakes seem to be holding but Caution is a must as things change fast. Hopefully they change cold 🥶

No promised dates in site for our shacks yet. Though I believe it's gonna happen, will keep ya posted. Hopefull for cold nights it's very boring in the U.P with no snow or ice🙄

Relocated one of the shacks Jason built today. Crazy beautiful, and slippery. 14 to 16 inches of good ice. Hopefully our weekend grew sees lots of rods bent. We can't snowmobile but we can fish.

Had a last minute cancelation on CrystalSprings Cottage, right in Curtis Mi (Manistique Lakes Recreation Area) Community Page . We are now available Feb 6th to the 15th.
The Ice Fishing Shanty is available 1st to the 9th. Last weekend in Feb too. PM me to see what kind of deal we can put together.

Both Ice Shacks are on the Ice. This is yesterday Jan 18th. Today we expect 5inches or more in snow, so things will look much different. Going to the big shack tonight. This will be good for banking the edges of shack and not so slippery on the ice. The Perch were playing yesterday, but we did get a small Walleye and Pike on tip ups. Hopefully all our guest pull a nice catch in. Thanks for booking, see everyone on the Ice!

Mother Nature has different plans then we do. Please use caution everywhere today. This warm weather took a lot of snow away, hopefully this will help for better ice making condition, but for now I'd stay off the lake, trails and driveway...lol HAPPY NEW YEAR 😀
