Lake Erie is starting to heat up. The fish were shallow a few weeks ago already, but with this cold front they moved back out. The fishing will only pick up from here and it has been good already.

Yesterday was a pretty good day on Erie, fish a few hours by myself and ended up with 58 keeper. Today went out for a few hours and fished for gills. Ended up keeping 90 gills and threw back about 300. Lol. Crazy day on the Maumee River.

Sorry, haven't posted in a bit. Friday the bite wasn't great, low water levels and still dropping has the fish in a weird mood. They are there, just weird. Saturday we had an East wind and the water levels were rising, the fish turned on. Sunday, the water was up about 1 foot and the fish ate. Ended up with about 50 keepers, caught over 100. The small fish we mixed in, but at least they were eating. Should only get better from here on out if we don't get any strong south west winds. Get out while you can.

The Portage River was tough today. Ended up with only 13 keepers. The water was down another 1 foot over night again. It was very shallow, be careful if you had out.

We thought the bite was slower today because we didn't really target gills after we found them, however, we ended up with around 70 keeper crappie. Not a bad day after all!

Fall bite. What a day!

What a day! I told you Erie is heating up. Fished Sandusky bay today, cedar point marina. Caught over 300 fish today. Caught 2 fish that went over 2lbs today. Crazy fall day! Get out while you can. The 5 gallon bucket challenge completed! I didn't get a lot of photos today, but what a great day.

If there is a weekday in October or November we may be able to make that work as well. I am booked from Oct 21st to Nov 4th every day. November is a great time to fish if the weather stays nice. Check out BrushPile Fishing show that Russ and I did in middle of November last year!
