It’s easy to see why Lake Tahoe is a sought out winter wonderland experience. Cozy wooden cabins with those bear flannel sheets, snow covered alpine forests with oh so many chickadees, and incredible views of Tahoe’s crystal blue lake water. Once the snow hits in December, Lake Tahoe is transformed into a winter playground. It’s only 4 hours away from the Bay Area and the perfect hidden gem for a winter getaway....

Walking along the boardwalk above the green meadows and below the towering mountains felt like walking in a curated nature exhibit.
