Hello South Forsyth Parents:
As you may be aware, Coach Jenna has been shouldering nearly all of the administrative duties for running the South Forsyth Youth Lacrosse girls program for some time. This is in addition to her job as a full time Forsyth teacher and lacrosse coach. We have reached a point that in order for the girls program to continue - and provide for desired improvements - we need some parent volunteers to join the South Forsyth Youth Lacrosse organization to manage and execute the program for the girls players.
For perspective, it takes a minimum of 4 people to run the program for the boys so we are now asking for several parents to volunteer to help for the girls program. The existing board of directors can provide budget templates, uniform suppliers, and key contacts with the county and leagues to enable you to be successful in this kind of role. Accounting support will also be provided to help manage the finances.
The board of directors and Coach Jenna would like to run a Fall program for the girls and soon need to get things organized for Spring 2026 and we need volunteers to help make that happen. We are also asking for any parents with a lacrosse background if you could volunteer to be a coach or assistant coach for Fall.
