Live from Panama City Beach, FL- ACES Baseball in “DOG FIGHT” for survival at Grand Slam World Series, posting 1-1-1 record!!

Aces came out of Pool Play #1 relinquishing a 2-1 lead, for a 2-2 tie with Diamond Elite Aces. Pool Play Pool #2 Aces firmly handle Big Creek Bombers 8-0, and earn a 3-seed for elimination games. Flat, slow, lethargic Aces start into a late 1-1 tie game, and ultimate 7-1 loss to Crimson Tide BB. Aces had 10 unrealized baserunners left on base, impacting final score. Aces also lose stalwart 1st baseman TL Curley, due to a broken middle finger, for the near time future.

ACES weekend tournament standouts at the plate include Conner Martin, Brayden Chunn, Tye Tefteller and Jonathan Odom. Aces need more BATS and RUNS to show up tonight for 8pm elimination game; or they will be “BEACHED” for the weekend.

Greetings Aces Baseball Fans,

Aces Baseball is a top travel baseball club in the southeast, having completed a third of their summer 2019 tournament schedule. Aces Baseball started out with a tremendous opening season game performance beating nationally ranked Cincinnati Spikes, in the Knights Baseball Nashville Classic in May. Aces ultimately fell short of their championship goal, only to become champions next week in the Tennessee Game 7 Memorial Day Nashville Bash. Aces then traveled to the Net Elite Perfect Game Super 25 Regional Chattanooga, TN winning all their pool play games; and then losing an elimination game to nationally ranked Broadheads of Deatsville, AL.

Aces once again travel down to Atlanta, GA for the Perfect Game Georgia Peach State Championships, to be felled by pouring rain. Aces were leading 5-2 over the Homeplate Chili Dogs, when their only action of the weekend was called, and subsequently the entire tournament cancelled.

Aces are expecting big things for the anticipated week-long Panama City Beach, FL Grand Slam World Series Tournament – Frank Brown Park 16200 Panama City Beach, FL 32413 June 16th – 23rd, 2019. Aces Baseball initial pool games begin Monday June 18th 8am Aces v. Diamond Elite Aces of Thomaston, GA and 12 noon Aces v. Big Creek Bombers of Cu***ng, GA. Competing teams are represented by Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas.
