😤Sometimes, you just gotta tell life how it’s gonna go! 💥 So I told Summer 2022😎
Just by setting a few summer goals for yourself and a week by week plan of how you will get there, it can change the entire direction of your summer, your year, your life! 🤩
Setting goals gives us some sort of direction, and completing them builds our self confidence and our belief that we can do even more. 😤
Be sure to use the SMART goal model:
Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Time-bound and start small! 👊🏻

🌀 Do you meditate? Even just 10 minutes a day can bring profound changes to mood, focus, and mental energy. 🌀
And meditating can look like a lot of things- not just sitting quiet and cross-legged. It could be a walk in the woods with no headphones, doing the dishes with jazz on, handstands, rock climbing, jogs on the track. That zone out zen feeling you get? That’s a form of meditation! 🌀
Benefits of meditation include:
🌀 reduces stress
🌀 effectively manages anxiety
🌀 improves emotional health
🌀 enhances self-awareness
🌀 improves sleep
🌀 more likely to be patient + kind
🌀 helps control pain
🌀 reduces blood pressure
I urge you to give it a try! There are many apps out there that can help you get started on the road to a daily meditation practice. I like the app- and they have a free version ☺️

The things I love include my doggy, my giant plants, the color yellow, a home gym, and part time art studio 🤩🎨

As the saying goes- You can’t pour from an empty cup! Too many of us put self care way down the list, even below things like laundry 🤦🏼‍♀️ The clothes will always be there, you’re well being will not! Carve out some sacred time for yourself- it’s so worth it, for everyone on that list of yours 💗💗

‼️ Fellow Seasonal Affective Disorder peeps! Reminding you this workout Wednesday to choose outdoor workouts as much as possible, especially now! ☀️
As the daylight dwindles, it’s more and more important to be outside as much as possible, and workouts outside help that much more too! This is one of the biggest tools that has helped me navigate SAD from year to year. 🔅
I find that a sunrise lamp, and at least an hour outside each day really changed the game for me. When I chose to exercise for that hour outside, I noticed even more benefits! Give this a try! 🙌🏻
