Really starting to love this rig. Tokyo rig with a floating stick bait. A little noise from the weights clacking. A little scent. A little flash. This rig is great around pads, milfoil, grass. It makes it's way through and will bounce off the roots and the rig will help keep it above a soft bottom.

I first used creature baits on this rig and had some success. John Crews mentioned that in Japan they use primarily longer worms. Lightbulb went off and I started pouring floating stick baits. I think it's a winner.

My preferred blade bait configuration. Bass pro xps blade with a size 6 triple grip 2x short shank ewg tied with 30lb b...

My preferred blade bait configuration. Bass pro xps blade with a size 6 triple grip 2x short shank ewg tied with 30lb braid on a 1/8 inch loop. On the back are size 7 round bends tied with a 3/32 loop so the loop cant go over the tail.
