It's that time of year again. ...all 13 to 18 year olds looking to play American Legion baseball, who live in Cumberland, Lincoln, North Providence or Central Falls should pre-register for tryouts at Upper Deck M-F 2PM - 8PM. If you don't tryout you are ineligible to play, so don't miss out, as we look to make it back to back State Championships.

Upper Deck Baseball Academy has plenty of rental time for teams......use the Deck for the most efficient way to have batting practice. On a field each player may get 25 swings, if they're lucky in an hour, in the same time at the Deck, each player will get 150-200 swings....use Upper Deck and get good.

Normand Beauchemin has spent the past 17 years as a high school Head Coach which includes 10 years at Moses Brown where he lead teams to a State Championship in 2008 and was a runner up in 2007. Normand also spent 4 years at Joseph Case H.S. in Swansea where the Cardinals were 3-time South Division Champions and State runner up in 2011 and 2012. Currently coaching at King Philip H.S. in Wrentham, MA. where his teams are 3 time Hockomock-Kelly Region division champions. He has 20+ years with Lincoln Girls Little League having coached 4 State Championships and helped develop many pitchers.

Scott Lesiuk has been the Smithfield High School Softball Coach since 2012. He has experience as a traveling coach for the Apponoag Girls Softball Team (6 years) and the Smithfield Girls Softball Team (7 years). Scott's coaching career started in 1984 at Bishop Feehan H.S. and carried over to collegiate baseball at Rhode Island College. His love of the sport continues on the field as a player for the RI Senior Men's Baseball League and in the Ocean State Baseball League.
