Congratulations to Junior, Braden Johnson, on winning state titles in both Freestyle and Greco-Roman over the weekend (Junior Division, 144 lbs).

Braden dominated and came out on top of a loaded bracket that consisted of 2 other state champions, and 8 other state place-winners from this past high school season. His titles cap off a triple crown within the state of Wisconsin this year!

Great work, Braden, Cumberland is proud of you!🥇

We extend a huge thank you to everyone who helped make our Wrestling Association Fundraiser a success!

To all who participated, the families and the businesses that generously donated, your contributions truly made a difference. A special thank you to the Almena Vets Club for graciously allowing us to use their facility.

We also want to recognize Annie Gilbertson, Erika Peterson, and Melissa Weaver for their time, dedication, and hard work in planning and setting everything up. Also, a big shout out to Jim Sparish, Marty and Holly Schramski for preparing the pork for our dinner. Everyone's efforts did not go unnoticed! Thank you as well to our high school wrestlers and coaches for stepping in and helping run activities throughout the event.

Because of all of you, the proceeds from this fundraiser will go toward purchasing new youth wrestling singlets for the upcoming season. We’re excited for what’s ahead and grateful to have such a supportive community behind us!

Congratulations to our youth and middle school wrestlers at WWF Kids State Championships!

Tyson placed 6th at 105 lbs

LeShawn Dyer and Dia Springer both went 4-2, narrowly missing out on placing.

Gabe Strickland and Levi Strickland both went 2-2, and Griffin Weaver went 1-2 at their first state tournament experience.

Way to go Beavers!!!
