Always a joy to hear Coach Erik share his passion for swimming! Erik is one of the world’s best distance swimmers. But you’d never know it, and many of his own swimmers don’t. He’s too humble to ever mention it. We’re so lucky to have him aquatics as our performance coach and share him with our friends at PODS Swimming!

Congrats Hillary! ❤️❤️

You know what time it is - it's day once again! This week, we're celebrating Hillary Sorin from the AnglerFish Aquatic program! She was nominated for the way that she goes above and beyond to make sure students feel seen and grow. I think we can all speak from experience; a good coach or mentor is priceless. Here is what her nominator had to say:

“My son has been attending AnglerFish Aquatics swim lessons at the high school for several years now. All of his coaches have been kind and helpful, but about 4 months ago, he started working with Hillary. She seems to ’get him.’ She makes him feel liked and seen. He is able to complete tasks with her that he has been working on for months with other coaches. I don’t think I can express how happy my heart is when I watch him swim, knowing the growth he has made with Hillary and the joy he feels in the water. He is so excited to go to practice when he knows that he will work with her and her encouragement has made him more confident. I am so grateful to her. She definitely has the ‘it factor’ when it comes to teaching.”

We’re always so proud of all of our Anglerfish swimmers, but this weekend, we really crushed it all over New England. Our kids at 11-14 Age Groups have blown away expectations, and our swimmers across the region representing their high schools made us proud.
