Allegany High School Wrestling will holding a brief "Interest Meeting" at the school on Thursday June 4th, in the mat room at 3:15pm. If any high school or 8th grade male or female student that is interested in wrestling during the 2026/2027 season stop in for brief meeting.

Well, that’s a wrap for AHS Wrestling 25/26! Awesome End of the Season, hosted by the teams awesome parents! Thanks to Jason Willetts for heading it up and all the parents for bringing food items and helping out. Several wrestlers earned their “A” this season along some top awards given out: Ironman Award to Casen Golliday and Cameron Ramona’s, Outstanding Wrestler Award to Hayden Linaburg, Rookie of the Year to Rilon Whitaker, Blue Grappler (Male wrestler) to Noah Filer and Blue Grappler Award (Female wrestler) Naomi Merchant. Awards are just a small part of what this entire team accomplished this season. AHS Wrestling Coaches are extremely proud of this team!

Late post….COED 1A/2A regional competition started this morning at 9:30. For starters, Hayden Linaburg came out strong with a quick pin. Both Anakin Willetts and DJ Riley had tough competition that resulted in being eliminated from the pigtail. Noah Filer worked hard and got a Maj Decision to move on. Linaburg later took a tough loss, however is till working towards 3rd/4th. Rilon Whitaker also took a tough loss and he also is fighting back for the 3rd/4th spot!
