⚽️ One of the biggest differences in game management? Calling the careless fouls.

As officials, we can’t control the decisions players make on the pitch — but we absolutely can influence behavior by addressing the simple, careless challenges early and consistently. 👀

Those “small” fouls aren’t small. They set the tone. 🎯

Sometimes that means sacrificing a little flow 🌊 to keep the match under control. 🧠🟨

That’s not over-officiating — that’s proactive game management. 💪

Control the little things… and the big things rarely become problems. 👏⚽️

Sad news. Mike was a member of PVSOA board and a dedicated supporter of local soccer.

Garrett College is deeply saddened to share the passing of Michael “Mike” Logsdon. Mike was a beloved founding member and former director of the Adventure Sports Management program, professor, mentor, and friend to so many in our community.

Mike helped shape the identity of the Adventure Sports program from its earliest days, inspiring generations of students to learn, lead, and appreciate the outdoors. His dedication reached far beyond campus. He was actively involved with Garrett Trails, the Wisp Ski Patrol, local youth programs, and numerous community organizations. Mike was known not only for his expertise and professionalism, but also for his kindness, humor, and heartfelt passion for helping others experience the world around them.
