Hinsdale Central Sailing is a parent run club affiliated with Hinsdale Central High School. We sail out of the Chicago Yacht Club and are coached by Chicago Yacht Club coaches. Try-outs are held in August via the Chicago Yacht Club High School Pipeline class. Sailors with experience sailing in a Club 420 or similar boat can contact the Team Parent to find out if there are any openings for the spri

If you are considering trying out for the 2015-2016 school year, you are strongly encouraged to participate in a summer sailing program through the Chicago Yacht Club - https://www.chicagoyachtclub.org/sailingschool. Becoming a Junior Member of the Chicago Yacht Club will save costs on class registrations. Dear Lake Michigan Sailor,

The last two LMSRF candidates expected to sail the Richardson Trophy Regatta for Lake Michigan fell through in the last 10 days.

We currently have up to 4 berths available for Lake Michigan Sail Racing Federation teams. LMSRF provides grants for the entry fees to its member teams.

The 2019 Yacht Racing Union of the Great Lakes Richardson Trophy Regatta is September 20-22 at the fine facilities of the Royal Canadian Yacht Club in Toronto, Ontario, in Sonars and serves as the Great Lakes Match Racing Championship. A team may consist of 3 or 4, with a total crew weight limit of 262.5 KG.

We deeply desire to fill all four berths open to us this year. Match racing is so popular amongst younger sailors. Please help us fill these berths by sharing this message.

The Notice of Race is by direct request to me. Please contact me directly, immediately, to initiate the Request for Invitation process and for information on how to submit your grant application to the LMSRF Grants-in-Aid Committee.
