That’s a wrap on another incredible **Krav Maga Alliance Advanced Prep Weekend!**

We had KMA affiliates travel in from across the country, along with instructors and students from several unaffiliated gyms who joined us to train, learn, and raise the level together.

The weekend featured outstanding presentations from **Paul Reavlin of Revgear** and **Sara Ullenbruch-Zarazadeh of Krav Mama**, realistic live-fire training led by **KMA Founder John Whitman**, and excellent training blocks from members of the KMA Training Team.

We also had the privilege of recognizing an important milestone as John Whitman presented **Deputy Chief Instructor Tony Morrison with his 5th Degree Black Belt**. Tony’s decades of leadership, teaching, and service have made a lasting impact on the Alliance, and this promotion was incredibly well deserved.

Thank you to everyone who traveled, trained hard, shared their knowledge, and helped make the weekend such a success. Events like this show exactly what the Alliance is all about: high-level training, constant improvement, and a community committed to making Krav Maga better everywhere.

Sometimes it’s hard being the best Krav Maga affiliation in the world. 😉

This promotion reflects not only Tony’s technical skill, but also his years of service, mentorship, and dedication to helping others grow.

Most firearms-focused self-defense courses keep you standing on a firing line, putting holes in paper targets.

Yesterday’s live-fire training at our Advanced Prep Weekend in Los Angeles challenged participants to perform under pressure through realistic, physically demanding drills. We covered:

🔥 Managing a fight when everything goes wrong

Real violence is unpredictable, chaotic, and rarely happens under perfect conditions. That’s why we’re always working to raise the standard and prepare our instructors and affiliates for the realities of a fight—not just a day at the range.
